It’s no secret that Tesla is working on a pickup truck, but could Elon Musk's tweets be a hint towards the name? Model B.
In the past, Elon Musk has mentioned that among Tesla's upcoming vehicles, he is most excited about the new Tesla Pickup Truck. So far this year, Musk has revealed some details about the new pickup, from its look and its advanced technology.
Over the past few weeks, Musk has BEEn very busy tweeting and sticking with Tesla's typical naming convention, a model name and a letter, it's very likely that the Tesla Pickup Truck could be called the Model B.
And why would it be called the Model B I hear you ask... Well... B S3XY.
Here's everything we know so far about the Tesla Pickup Truck:
The Tesla Pickup will be significantly cheaper than its main rival Rivian which is based at around £56,000.
It has been rumoured that the Tesla Pickup truck will start from around £40,000 and is expected to go on sale in 2020.
The CEO has previously said that the Tesla pickup truck won't look out of place in the set of the sci-fi Blade Runner franchise.
It has not been officially confirmed how the Tesla pickup truck will look, but with Mr Musk's description and renders currently available online, it will certainly look different from anything else on the road.
It's going to be big! In a series of tweets last year, Elon said that the Tesla pickup would have six seats, all-wheel-drive, a 240-volt connection for tools and up to 300,000 pounds of towing capacity.
The CEO has also said in the past that he wants the Tesla pickup to be more practical that the Ford F150, currently the top selling vehicle in the U.S, and be a better sports car than a basic Porsche 911.
Whilst we only know small details so far, we can build a pretty good picture in our heads of what the Tesla pickup truck will look like.
Tesla plans to offer a great pickup truck without breaking the bank. As Musk has said in the past, "the capabilities of the Tesla truck will be unmatched".
We can also expect the Tesla pickup to have a range of around 500 miles.
What do you think about the Tesla pickup truck? Will it be better than any other pickup truck currently on the road?
